Cash Sales Representative (Counter Sales) – People with disability only!

Industry : Stainless Steel / Metals Industry
Our client, a well-established company in the stainless steel industry, is currently seeking a dynamic and customer-focused Cash Sales Representative to join their team. This role is ideal for an individual who enjoys working in a fast-paced sales environment and has strong product knowledge within the stainless steel sector.
Key Responsibilities:
- Respond to customer enquiries, prepare quotations, and convert quotes into
sales.
- Maintain regular communication with clients to understand and support their
ongoing requirements.
- Manage counter and cash sales transactions, ensuring accurate processing
of payments and cash balances.
- Liaise with internal departments such as Sales, Stores, and Administration to
ensure efficient order fulfilment.
- Provide feedback to management and external sales teams regarding client
enquiries and market activity.
- Support pricing decisions, discounts, and delivery arrangements within
approved parameters.
- Ensure adherence to company procedures and maintain accurate sales
documentation.
Minimum Requirements:
- Matric, preferably with Mathematics, Science, or Business Economics.
- At least 1 year of experience in the stainless steel industry with sound
product knowledge.
- Understanding of sales processes and customer service principles.
- Basic proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Word.
- Knowledge of Great Plains or similar sales systems would be advantageous.
