Sales Support

Location: Durban
Salary: Market Related
Main functions of the job:
  • Provide administrative support to the sales team, preparing quotes and costings, and managing customer inquiries. Liaising with Suppliers and Customers.
Responsibilities:
  • Assist with customer account management, tracking order status, and resolving issues or discrepancies.
  • Coordinate with internal departments, such as logistics and finance, to ensure timely delivery of products and accurate invoicing.
  • Prepare sales reports and analyze data to identify trends, opportunities, and areas for improvement.
  • Assist in the preparation and coordination of sales and marketing presentations, meetings, and events.
  • Maintain organized and up-to-date documentation and records related to sales activities, compiling stats.
Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Sales, Marketing, or a related field (or equivalent experience)
Experience:
  • Previous experience in a sales support or sales administrative role, for manufacturers or distributors, or suppliers ideally within the pharmaceutical or medical supply industries.  
  • Strong organizational and multitasking skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a customer-focused mindset.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and CRM software.
  • Attention to detail and accuracy in data entry and documentation.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively as part of a team.
